Technology Education
Education is a big part of what I have to offer. Whether it’s a more typical instance of computer tutoring, or helping you learn how to use a new appliance, smart phone, or digital camera, I can help.
Unlike the stereotypical computer coach, I do not see my job as pushing the technologically laggardly to “get with the program.” My first goal is to understand you: both what you need from a technology and what you absolutely do not need from it. Technology exists to be our servant, not our master. There is valuable learning to be had in the process of evaluating and rejecting a new technology as much as there is valuable learning in coming to know how to make a new technology part of your life.
